Everest Three pass trek is one of the adventurous trekking trail of Everest Region. This trek is only for those, who are looking for long trip (minimum three weeks) and adventurous. The trail passes through the some of the highest passes, glacier, and reaches to the lap of world’s crown Everest.

The trek starts at Lukla (2828m), which is gateway of Everest region. The 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla offers magnificent view of Himalayan region. Reaching to the base of world’s crown Everest might be the lifetime dram of every adventure lover. The whole trekking trail is situated within the Sagarmatha National park, which is also the home of hundreds of thousands rare wildlife. Himalayan Thar, Red Panda and Musk deer are some of the majestic creatures of the nature that you can observe during the trekking period.

The remarkable part of this trekking is Sherpa’s village. The typical culture and traditions are the best attracting part for everyone who wish to know about legendary Sherpa people. Since the last 60 years, The Sherpa peoples are quite popular for world’s best mountaineer. So, the trek would be more meaningful in terms of cultural exploration and people to people interactions. 

Local people’s are also friendly and treats with high level of respect to the guest. The whole Everest region is rich in picturesque villages great variety of culture and traditions, colorful festivals and monasteries.

We ascend all the way to Renjo-La pass (5360m), this pass provides lifetime memory of panoramic views of the Everest and other highest mountains. This route is off the usual beaten track. And the journey to the pristine lakes would be extra attractions in Gokyo Valley. Also you can observe the Ngozumpa glacier, which is the largest glacier in the Himalayas. From the summit of Gokyo Ri (5330m) the amazing view of world’s roof, Everest can be seen clearly. This is best viewpoint of entire region.

The next pass is Cho-La (5420m) follows to the Everest Base Camp.  And also you can hike to Kalapathar, which is another best view point near from Base Camp and Khumbu Icefall. 

The third pass is Kongma- La (5535m), which is highest pass compare with other two passes. Beautifll and amazing vistas of mountains can be observe from Kongma- La pass. This is how, you will cross the all three passes of Everest region.

Best Season for Everest Three Pass Trek

Spring and autumn are considered the best season for this trek. The most important point whole making this plan is, you as a trekkers should have proper trekking gears and clothing. Without having proper clothing we cannot imagine to make this trek perfect.

Moreover, it is better to have a professional trekking guide with you. As the previous experiences The Everest Three Pass trek is considered the challenging and technical. So, be prepared properly and must take one local guide.
